SWE Series aluminum nitride powders (AlN) are polycrystalline, high-purity particles available in D50 sizes from 2 μm to 80 μm, with an epoxy-functional surface coating and an advanced anti-hydrolysis treatment applied.

The coating improves particle bonding in epoxy resin matrices, while the anti-hydrolysis treatment provides excellent hydrolysis resistance, helping maintain thermal performance and powder stability in wet and humid conditions. Hydrolysis resistance is tested with the powder immersed in water at 85°C/85%RH for more than 500 hours.

Key applications

SWE Series can be compounded with epoxy resins to develop highly thermally conductive products, including thermal adhesives, encapsulants, films, tapes, pads, and coatings.
