NF Series aluminum nitride powders (AlN) are polycrystalline, ultra-high-purity particles with a roundish shape, available in D50 sizes from 1.5 μm to 130 μm.
The roundish particle shape improves flowability and filling rate over fully irregular particles, offering a practical balance between thermal conductivity performance and cost. The wide size range, including grades from 1.5 μm, also makes NF Series suitable as a sub-filler in ultra-thin thermal interface material formulations.
Key applications
NF Series can be compounded with silicone polymers and epoxy resins to develop highly thermally conductive products, including grease, gels, films, tapes, pads, and coatings.
